Children’s Books

As an adoptive mom of three wonderful kids from foster care, I often look to find stories to help them with the challenges our special history brings. More often than not, I find myself creating stories for them. From the bedtime story I have told my little guy since birth, to the difficult waves of attachment we’ve travelled with our oldest, my books focus on the struggles foster and adopted children face to belong and feel secure.

Dragons, silly mommy parts and poetic rhyme are just a few of the elements you will find in my stories. I hope you will find these stories helpful in opening dialog with your children about their struggles, fears, and belonging. Most importantly, I hope your children will find their voice and realize they are loved, cherished, and wonderful – especially because our family stories are different.
